Okay, I was kinda bored recently, so I decided, Hey, I'll make character bios for Gohan and Piccolo's families! These aren't gonna be full-blown bios like the ones for Gohan and Piccolo, just miniature versions with tidbits and stuff. Enjoy!

MEET GOHAN'S FAMILY...

His Father, Goku...

The beloved hero of the series. Heck, you probably know all about this guy, but I'm gonna babble about him some more for y'all. Goku's personality is kinda like Gourry from Slayers. Not the sharpest pencil in the box, but he can kick booty if need be and is incredibly loyal to his friends. Goku basically has two sides to his personality, the fun loving, slightly clueless, childlike side, and the dead serious, determined, never-say-die, save-the-world side. In truth, the contrast between these two sides is kinda weird. Most of the time, he's just being happy 'ol Goku, hanging with his friends, fishing with Krillin, sparring with Piccolo, wolfing down enough food to kill a horse, etc. But when something threatens his friends and/or the earth, he suddenly starts scowling and training like mad. When he finally fights the bad guy, he hangs on to the bitter end and fights his heart out. Because he's so darn nice, Goku has this habit of sometimes letting the bad guys go once he's pummeled them a bit. Sometimes this works out for the best, after all, if he had actually killed Vegeta, millions of fangirls around the world would never have been exposed to the joys of Trunks. However, sometimes he can be a little too trusting and lets the really bad bad guys go, who tend to turn up later on to cause more trouble. The perfect example of this is Dr. Gero, who came back in the Cell Saga and unleashed those darn androids on everybody.
Overall, who can't like Goku? He's like a big innocent puppy or something!

His Mother, Chi Chi...

Chi Chi is the daughter of Gyu-Mao (aka Ox King), making her the princess of Fire Mountain. She first met her husband Goku in Dragonball when he was enlisted to help them put out the fire in their castle. As some of you know, Kame sen'nin did manage to put out the fire, but blew up the castle in the process. During this time, Chi Chi fell head over heels in love with our hero, and Gyu-Mao offered Goku Chi-Chi's hand in marriage. Goku, who didn't really know what a marriage was, accepted. The next time Chi Chi turned up was at the tenkaichi boudokai when she and Goku were about 18 or so. Unfortunately for him, by this time, Goku didn't recognize Chi Chi, much less remember the promise he made back when he was a wee lad. She remembered him though, oh did she ever. She kicked his booty in the fight they had together, and the two got hitched at the end of Dragonball, going on to have Gohan and Goten.
At first I didn't particularly like Chi Chi, mainly because of how she practically smothered Gohan to death and made him study all the time, but now I've come to realize she's actually pretty cool. Despite her smothering tendencies, Chi Chi cares deeply about her family, and all the smothering is just to keep them safe and hopefully stop them from fighting. At times I actually feel sorry for her, because no matter how hard she tries to stop them, the boys in her family keep on training and whatnot, and her husband Goku has this awful tendency to die and leave on training missions a lot. Deep down, I think she knows that all that smothering just isn't gonna work, after all, you don't marry the world's strongest man for nothing. But anyway, she's proud of her family, and if anybody tries to hurt them, boy does she get mad. You do NOT want to make Chi Chi mad. She may look peaceful, but she can kick booty if she wants to. At one point she even hurls an evil tutor she accidentally hired for Gohan right out the window and proceeded to beat his brains out with a broom. She's the only woman in the world who can make Goku and Piccolo take driving lessons, too ^_^.
Overall, Chi Chi is a pretty nifty character. And isn't it cool how she can make the strongest fighter in the world cringe?

His little brother, Goten...

Cheerful and energetic, Goten inherited both his looks and his sweet cluelessness from his father Goku. Goten is always bursting with energy, and is so gosh darn cute that people can't help but go Awww even when he gets hit in the head with a golf ball or something. He and his best friend Trunks both really admire Gohan. Speaking of Trunks, the two are best friends for life. Since Trunks is a year older and therefore (in his opinion, anyway) stronger and smarter than Goten, the purple-haired wonder often takes charge, making up plans that often get the two into trouble, like disguising themselves to get into the adult division of the Tenkaichi Boudoukai. Goten is usually the one that holds back for a bit, saying "we're gonna get in trouble for this...", at least until Trunks pressures him into joining him. Then he joins in wholeheartedly with a big grin on his face. You can kind of think of the two in this aspect: Consider Alvin and the chipmunks. Trunks is Alvin, and Goten is a much cuter version of Theodore.
I've already mentioned this a bit before, but everything about Goten just screams Kawaii. His high, squeaky Japanese voice, his innocent stare, his hyperness, his cluelessness, everything. Heck, even when he grows up, he still retains the cute-little-brother mentality.
Goten is extremely strong, even to the point where he went super saiyajin before he learned to fly. A bit later on, he gets even stronger when he fuses with Trunks to make Gotenks (or Trunten, as Piccolo repeatedly calls him), who even manages to go super saiyajin three.

His wife, Videl...

Videl first appeared in Gohan's high school, where she was the local defender of justice, who regularly beat up criminals and had her own transmitter watch that connected straight to the police, kinda like Dick Tracy. Needless to say, she didn't take too kindly to the appearance of the Great Saiyaman treading on her turf. She started becoming extremely suspicious when she connected Gohan with the Great Saiyaman, and quickly figured out that they were the same person. Not one to waste an opportunity, she promptly used this information to blackmail the hell out of him, forcing him to teach her how to fly and use her ki. Next, the two went to the Tenkaichi Boudokai together, which presented poor Gohan with a number of problems: namely covering up the...shall we say...oddities of his friends and family (can't let the girlfriend know we're all aliens!) and trying to stop himself from blushing every time Krillin started teasing them. Videl quickly realized that any member of Gohan's little gang could easily kick her loudmouth dad's booty, despite Gohan's many attempted cover-ups. Videl eventually joins up with Gohan, becoming the Great Saiyaman 2, and even marries him at the end of DBZ, going on to have their daughter, Pan.
I just have this to say: Videl is awesome, albeit a bit of a bossy loudmouth, and she and Gohan are great together. Heck, the boy has been bossed around by women all his life, he wouldn't know what to do with himself if he didn't have one telling him what to do!

His daughter, Pan...

First of all, I don't particularly like Dragonball GT, so this bio may seem a wee bit baised. Sorry! Anyhoo, Pan is the 1/4 saiyajin daughter of Gohan and Videl. She made her first appearance when she was four years old and entering the latest Tenkaichi Boudokai. She was extremely strong even then, and immediatly proved it by beating both this huge muscley guy who was easily five times her height, and her uncle Goten. Apart from the incredible strength, Pan-chan was like any other four-year-old, playing with her grandpa Goku, crying over spilled ice cream cones, getting angry at the jerk who bumped into her and caused her to spill her ice cream in the first place...
I don't know a huge amount about Pan in GT, but she's a little bit of a brat, and her hair seems to have straightened out completely. As can be expected, she's a little horrified at the fact that her grandfather is now younger than her, and takes a while to get used to this. At this point, she's sick and tired of being treated like a little kid, which prompts her to stow away on the spaceship with Goku and Trunks in the first place. Once she knows what she wants, Pan is stubborn as a bull, and trying to make her change her mind is about as pointless as trying to fit a watermelon into a hamster's mouth. This is quickly demonstrated by her refusal to go back home, even more so when she sticks the keys to the ship down her shirt. Eventually, (and luckily for them) Trunks and Goku decide to let her tag along.
Admittedly, Pan is kinda cool, mostly because she's one of the only girls in dbz/dbgt who really fights and kicks booty in the process. She's a bit bratty and bossy in GT, but overall is a pretty cool character.

His Father-in-law, Mr. Satan...

Mr. Satan is the strongest person in the world. At least, that's what his fans think. In truth, any of the Z senshi could easily kick his booty in half a second flat, and he knows it. Luckily for him, the fans don't. However, he makes up for his lack of strength with an extremely loud mouth. His exceptionally loud mouth tends to get him in and out of some very sticky situations. Deep down though, Mr. Satan really is a nice guy. He has the decency to feel guilty about taking credit for defeating Cell when it was the Z senshi who did all the work, and ends up feeling even more guilty when his adoring fans create a hilarious puppetshow, illustrating exactly how he did so.
He does have his uses, though. Mr. Satan eventually becomes best friends with Mr. Buu, and hey, having a celebrity on your side can't hurt, because everyone in the world will listen to him.
Overall, Mr. Satan is a somewhat nice, loudmouthed guy who has a severe tendency to write checks that his strength can't cash. As the proverb goes, people often applaud the fake, and shun the real thing.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he's Videl's father.

And Last But Not Least, His Grandfather, Gyu-Mao...

I hate to say it, but I really don't have much to say about this guy. I already covered most of what i know about him in Chi Chi's bio. He's the former king of Fire Mountain, and was trained by Kame-sen'nin (master roshi). Nowadays, he's just Gohan's adoring grandfather, who has a bit of a tendency to go overboard on the birthday presents.
