CHARACTER BIOS!
This is for all you silly people who don't know who Gohan and Piccolo are, or anybody who just wants a quick review of the two.
By the way, I got bored one night, so I wrote up Bios for the Families! So far I've only got Gohan's family done, but I'm working on Piccolo's. Check 'em out!
SON GOHAN
Identity: First son of Goku and Chi Chi
Age when first appears in the series: 4 years old
Race: 1/2 Saiyajin, Half human hybrid
Family: Son Chi Chi, his mother; Son Goku, his father; Son Goten, his little brother who is 9 years younger than him; Videl, first his girlfriend, then becomes his wife; Mr. Satan, His father-in-law; and Son Pan, his super-kawaii daughter
History: Welp, I'll start out by saying that at the beginning of the series, Gohan was the definition of a momma's boy. I'm sorry, but he was!!! Chi Chi basically ran his life for him, made him study like mad and didn't let him train at all. Thing was, Gohan had tons and tons of power inside him, but nobody knew. All this power of his was due to being half saiyajin; half breeds are stronger. The only problem, apart from his power being hidden, was teh fact that it only burst loose when his emotions were at their peak, and even then only for a second. Not very useful, indeed. The first time everybody figured out he was a heck of a lot stronger than he looked was during the fight with Raditz, where his power level skyrocketed from 1 to 1305 and he beat the royal crap out of his stupid uncle, allowing Piccolo and Goku to finish him off. After that, on account of Goku being dead and all, Piccolo kidnapped Gohan to train him, thereby turning him into the mucho strong little bugger you see before you today.
Later on, Gohan moves to the big city, decides to dress up in a silly costume and fight crime as the great Saiya-Man (oy... don't get me started on the great saiyaman...), gets hitched to a girl named Videl, gets dorky looking glasses and a bad haircut and has a daughter named Pan who is one of the main characters in Dragonball GT.Personality: Gohan is actually kinda shy, and he doesn't like fighting nearly as much as his dad, but despite this, can be one of the strongest fighters if he's pushed far enough. In fact, Gohan was the first one to go Super Saiyajin 2, and even got himself a state higher than any SSJ form, which was simply called Mystic. He only really gets angry when somebody starts hurting his friends, that's when the fur starts to fly. You do NOT want to be Gohan's opponent when he gets mad. It's really not pretty. Anyway, Gohan manages to maintain the sweet-little-boy mentality, but personally I think he's very mature for his age. Probably because of all the stuff he's had to go through. The poor little guy has seen some of his best friends die right in front of him!!
PICCOLO
Identity: Warrior from Namek. Former arch enemy of Son Goku, now on the good guys side!
Age when first appears in series: um....well, he had just hatched out of his egg, so I guess he'd be...zero?
Race: Namekian
Family: Piccolo Daimou, his father; Kami-sama...um...well, he's sort of his other half, so I guess they're related... Nail, they're not really family, but he fused with him, And since all Nameks are related, I guess the rest of the Nameks are his family..
History: Okeydoke, it all started out in Dragonball, when Son Goku killed Piccolo Daimou, the demon king. Just as he was about to die, Daimou spat out an egg, stuck all of his memories and such in the baby inside and promptly chucked the egg into the middle of the woods. Several years later, Piccolo, the baby who was inside the egg, aka Piccolo Daimou Jr. appeared at the Tenkaichi Boudokai, wanting to take over the world and kill Goku and such. He went about all kinds of things, such as imprisoning Kami-sama in a bottle and killing Shenlon, then fought with Goku and eventually lost. Goku let him live, Piccolo left, Goku ran off with Chi Chi, end of Dragonball.
Then in DBZ, after they defeated Raditz, Piccolo kidnapped Gohan so he could train him to fight Vegeta and Nappa. Thing was, Gohan ended up having an unexpected effect on Piccolo. Gohan was gradually turning Piccolo into a nicer person inside. Piccolo was kinda shocked and even a bit annoyed to realize that he was starting to like the little guy ("I've never had feelings like this for anybody before... And I don't like it!"). Then, during the fight with Vegeta and Nappa, Piccolo sacrifices his life to save Gohan. He dies, but in a good way.
Later on, after he is wished back, Piccolo fuses with a Namekian warrior named Nail so he can fight Freeza. Then, during the Cell saga, he fuses with Kami-sama so he can stand a chance against Cell. Lots of other stuff happens to him, like he gets turned to stone by Dabula, is one of the last people alive on earth during the Buu saga, and gets stuck in some place with lots of ogres (hell, maybe?) during GT.Personality: Piccolo has a very complicated personality, way, WAY too compex for me to get into. He's very serious and dour most of the time, but on the rare occasions when he loses his composure and freaks out, he's quite the effective comic relief. I'll just say that he can be really nice when he wants to be, is usually the loner of the group, tends to hang around in corners a lot with his arms crossed and seems to like nature, as he lives in the middle of the woods. Also, Piccolo tends to be the voice of reason on many occasions. and spends most of his time meditating (he's actually doing mental training) in the middle of nowhere.
